Places and Activities on the Doorstep

There is so much to do right on the doorstep of Galford Springs. If you are a lover of the countryside you will never be bored.

• The 'Two Castles Trail' runs right through Galford Farm. This 20 mile walk runs between Launceston and Okehampton castles. It is beautiful, well sign posted and has a guide leaflet to interpret many of the features seen on the trail. We are right in the middle of the trail so you can choose your direction!
  
• Have a paddle or go fishing in our own river for Trout (free!)
  
• Woodland Walks
• Feel free to wander our 300 acre farm - see our cattle, sheep and ponies (even wild deer)
• A wildlife lovers paradise - so many wild birds and plants to enjoy - kingfishers, pheasants, ducks..
• The kids can feed the ducks on our duck pond
• If you fancy staying in , watch Sky on our 50 inch Giant Plasma Television
• Indoor swimming pool coming soon.  Enjoy a leisurely swim or splash around with the children all year round.
